Geoff, who is now retired, says he wishes he had started keeping bees years ago.  He joined the Roseland Beekeeping Group in 2009, having purchased four colonies from a retiring beekeeper.  Since then, along with his wife Penny, he has increased to ten hives, a mixture of Dadent, WBC and Poly in two apiaries, one at Grampound and one at Tregony.

As well as being the group’s Treasurer, Geoff is an active volunteer, often helping out at events and with group projects.  He also helps to run a gardening club in Grampound.  In addition to all this, he stepped up to fill the vacant role of Chairman as of 2017.
